Today I had the opportunity to fly with someone on the Florida Panther research team on a tracking flight. Three times each week, the panthers are tracked using a radio collar and their positions are recorded. We did not see either of the two panthers as they were deep inside larger hardwood hammocks, but I did get to take a few aerial shots. It was my first attempt at aerial photography and I was not too pleased with the results but I will have more opportunities to fly with the researchers so hopefully I will get better.
