This morning I finally got close to a Cape Sable Seaside Sparrow. I spent a few hours searching for these very wary birds. I saw and photographed three birds, two of which were banded. The third bird I was able to get close enough to get some decent shots I was pleased with. Tomorrow I am going to be tagging along with the sparrow researchers as they are mist netting and banding these birds. Hopefully I will have some interesting bird in hand images tomorrow.
