After over two weeks without phone service it is supposed to be restored today. However, I will not be around to find out if it is actually fixed because I am in Maine on campus for the weekend. I have made the trip north in order to meet with professors to talk about the rest of my time in the Everglades as well as the upcoming fall semester. Some of the professors I have been working with over the past two years will either be on sabatical next year or are leaving Bowdoin after this semester so this is also an opportunity to talk with them before they head their seperate ways in the next few months.
I will be returning to Flamingo late Tuesday night and I do not have any more travelling plans until late July. After having committments every weekend for the last five or six weeks, I am looking forward to dedicating more time to my photography. If everthing goes well today with the phone service then my weblog and newsletters will resume their normal schedule starting next Wednesday, May 25. Sorry that the past few weeks have been so sporadic but I promise things will be returning to normal soon. Have a great weekend.
