Today we started to feel the effects of Tropical Storm Arlene and tomorrow we are supposed to have strong storms and wind all day. This morning I got out before the rains and searched for a Mangrove Cuckoo but came up empty handed. During the early afternoon my new scanner arrived, allowing me to scan the landscape images I have been taking with my 4x5 camera. This is just one of the two dozen or so that I am working with now. Tomorrow will bring heavy storms and high winds so I will be scanning more images. Hopefully by Saturday or Sunday the skys will clear and I can get out with the camera again.
