Snowy Egret in flooded sawgrass - Paurotis Pond area, Everglades National Park

With all this rain, the sawgrass prairies now have several inches of water covering them which enables birds feed just about anywhere. This Snowy Egret was one of several that were scattered across a section of the prairie just east of Paurotis Pond. It was great to get outside again and even better to have a camera in my hands again. This next week is supposed to have some great weather and I am excited about utilizing it.
