This morning I was once again in the Rocky Pinelands looking for Man-in-the-Ground Morning Glories. I didn't have any luck as my searching time was cut short by some thunderstorms and I am not comfortable walking around in a thunderstorm carrying a large tripod. So here is an image from yesterday instead. I have been trying to photograph these Skinks in Mahogany Hammock for several weeks and never had any success. Finally, yesterday while I was at Shark Valley this brightly colored individual was cooperative while on one of the handrails. I love the bright colors in the head.
