I spent the afternoon working in Mahogany Hammock focusing on the small details of the hammock. Finally, after several days of rain and heavy overcast we finally got some sun and even a blue sky for most of the late afternoon and evening. In the hammock I was able to photograph a number of different things and scouted a number of landscapes I will return to shoot later this week. Something about the light green leaves and the blue sky was very appealing in this image. That being said, I think the leaves from the other trees really make the image and give it context.
