This afternoon I continued exploring some of the cypress domes throughout the park. I was thrilled to finally capture a Red-bellied Woodpecker as it was feeding on a Stiff-leafed Pine Bloom. I had seen this a few other times but had never captured it on film. I love how the bird and flower are spotlighted while the rest of the forest is dappled with light.
