After a wonderful spring break I am back at it (see newsletter for details). Today I stopped at Anhinga Trail on my way over to the western 'glades and Big Cypress to photograph the Anhinga family that I have been following. There were three babies and only one was sitting in the nest. I also found this turtle sitting up on a rock sunning itself. I was pleased to capture him with his rear leg outstretched. A quick run through Loop Road was fairly uneventful but as always the scenery was gorgeous. Tomorrow I am headed to Fakahatchee State Preserve and for a short canoe trip on Turner River.
