Finally the rain has stopped and today was beautiful. This afternoon I returned to Anhinga Trail to photograph the Anhinga nest that I photographed last week. Today the male was on the nest and all the babies were sleeping. I sat there for about two hours and only had a few chances to get the male with his head up. I am fairly pleased with this image of the male protecting the large pile of feathers.
Tomorrow I am going to be driving up to Naples to see my mom for her birthday. I will be back Saturday night. I may or may not be able to update my weblog tomorrow but regardless look for new images Saturday night.
