White Ibis Portrait - Eco Pond, Everglades National Park
          This afternoon I spent some time at Eco Pond. It finally began to cool off a bit and the mosquitoes have subsided some. I was searching for the male Painted Bunting I saw two nights ago, but did not find it. Instead I found some nice Ibis and a Little Blue Heron that allowed me to capture some portraits.


Interesting Sightings

  I refound a Bell's Vireo that was reported on 3/19 near the cottages down here in Flamingo. This was a lifebird for me so I was excited even though I did not get any photos of the bird. It was also my first good migrant this year.

Other Interesting Observations:

  I found some raccoons that were climbing up a tree this afternoon.
