Male Snail Kite - Water Conservation Area 3B
          This morning I got to spend a bit of time photographing Snail Kites as they hunted over the sawgrass prairie north of US Highway 41. This male had been hunting for quite a while and was taking a break on this small cypress. For more images see this week's newsletter.


Interesting Sightings

  I had up to five Snail Kites hunting over this prairie at once.
