After a night of rain, today was cloudy, cool, and windy. I took it easy and slept a lot today to try and get rid of this cold as quickly as I can. This evening I am feeling better and took a few minutes to go over to Eco Pond. I was shocked at the lack of bird life. There were no ibis and very few herons. The mosquitos benefited from the past few days of rain and were out in good numbers. I did find an Eastern Phoebe that let me follow it around a little as it hunted. I think I may try and get out tomorrow morning if I am feeling better.
